Day at the Beach

We went to the beach today, because it was 70 degrees and gorgeous. The water was still way too cold, but that didn't stop these water babies from getting wet. By the time we returned to the car, they were both soaking wet from the waist down.
We went to McDonald's, where Doug and his usual charming self, was talking the the McDonald's employees, like they knew him and he cared. They asked if he wanted to try the new snack wrap, which his reply was "Oh god no!" Then when we get to the first window, he asks how the guy is doing and if he was bored. The second window he asks how she was doing and told her that the other guy was lazy, she's doing all the work and the other guy didn't even like his job. She of course is 16 and in a fit of giggles over the whole thing. Anyways, just to let you know how smart kids are, McKinleigh says "Daddy, why are you always messing with the McDonalds people." That's it. Our exciting day in a nutshell.
